And yet another story from my days in retail, this time it involves the PERSONAL TOUCH.
Personal Touch?
How many times have you gone into a shop and had the same small talk again and again. “How’s your day been?” “Good weather today.” All that generic crap that passes the time for the employee a little bit quicker. Well I found that I could increase sales and up sell so much more if I actually listened to the customer and livened up the t... Continue reading ...

What is it? Well back in the days of working in retail, the street I worked on had an event once a year where all the shops were open until midnight. I was laughing to myself when I got told this was happening the first year I was working there. The area around where I worked was an aged area. I expected no one at ALL to come as by 6pm (sometimes we closed at 7pm) sales dropped to zero.
What happened?

After a whole day of fishing, the father and son returns, the father caught 50 fish, and the son only caught 28. The son was confused by this, so he asked his father how he did it, the father simply replied, “I always have more than one hook on my line every time I ... Continue reading ...

Make sure you set yourself a certain amount of
comments a day per blog, the amount will obviously be more or less depending on
the blog. Why do this? Well, this is to avoid being labelled a spammer, and
therefore banned or ignored on that blog for life.
2.
Try connecting your comment with the
conversation that is currently happening, not just put forth a question or
something simple that can be answered quickly and in a one way fashion. This
will make the author reply in such ... Continue reading ...
Stand strong
When you have a point, stand
strong. Don’t waffle around saying each point may be right, but stand strong.
In doing this, you will acquire more trust from your readers and actually
position yourself as an expert in your industry.
Offer something no one can refuse
When you are selling a product
such as an EBook, make offers than no one can refuse! No one can refuse an
EBook if it actually contains valuable content for a small price, especially if
it is free! Making s... Continue reading ...
