😁 Practice gratitude

Practising gratitude takes you out of the future/past thinking mind and brings you into the now. Hedonic adaptation is where your mind very quickly gets used to the new things in your life, so practising gratitude can help slow that process down and keep you consciously aware of the things around you that make you happy.

Grab a pen, or open Google Docs, and start writing. Put a timer on for 5 minutes and sit there writing whatever comes to your head until the 5-minutes is up. Do this daily, and you'll feel like a new person.
